This is something I did for church...I'm still in shock, I didn't know I could do anything this good. 
I think the Lord guided my hand and helped me...I know it sounds cheesy but I don't really care.
It took me almost six hours. I don't think I've ever done something this detailed or that took so long.
I did trace the original photograph to get the proportions, but the rest I did freehand.

It was interesting having a live lamb in the greenroom. So sweet! The model didn't seem thrilled to hold it but he was pretty patient. (the lamb was very patient, he let us take pictures of him and only bleated once or twice)

CommentsI really love the wrinkles in the clothing. It's so realistic! The only thing that's bothering me is the left eye. It appears to be a little too far from the face. Moving to the right by JUST a centimeter should work.

 Zazzy, this is so amazing. I really love Jesus's hair, it looks realistic and so does the lamb. It's also really peaceful. I'd be really proud if I were you.

The folds are slightely bugging me though. But I can't really help you with that as I fail at them |D They're just very ... unnatural and don't ... reflect the bodys shape beneath the fabric. It's also a bit hard to make out where the arm starts 'cause the folds are going all over it, kind of. But really great work <3 wow. zazzy. this is...stunning. o_o

This is absolutely amazing. I think you're very good with digital painting more than anything else. With more practice, I bet you could do this as a professional job, if not so already. I really like the way you painted the lamb's stomach areas, it really looks soft and wool-ish. ;o; <333 |
